Weekly Meal Plan March 9-13

This week at school I did a lesson on sharing positive feelings. We talked about how they make other people feel and how it feels when someone shares a positive feeling with us.

Then I let the kids get to work making cards for their friends and classmates that shared a (specific…we tried to stay away from “You’re Nice”) positive feeling.

The kids loved this…they worked meticulously on notes and cards for the rest of the block. They would have been happy to work on it the rest of the afternoon if I would have let them.

One little girl made me a beautiful card with a very heartfelt message inside.

She just beamed when she gave it to me and I read it….I didn’t have the heart to ask her what it meant.

Thursday

I was trying to stay away from chicken dishes this week because of all the chicken we ate last week. (no real reason other than I like to diversify my meats) But there are so many chicken dishes I like that it was hard to do. Plus I heart sweet potatoes…why should I miss out on those?
