This week’s meal plan was pretty easy to put together. We have a some evenings where we will be out at dinner so there were very few meals that needed to be planned.
Plus, my sister comes home from her long trip to Europe, so guess what is back on the menu this week? You guess it! Baked potato soup. I thought I would make a big pot to share and go and hear about her great trip.
Here is what’s on the plan this week.

- hoisin sauce
- soy sauce
- water chestnuts
- green onions
- lettuce for wrapping
- ground pork
- chicken stock
- sour cream
- salt and pepper
- baking powder
- baking soda
These lettuce wraps look amazing! I’m also glad I can make these in the slow cooker. That helps start Monday off right.
Dinner plans! No cooking for me. I hope there is enough leftovers from Monday night for Wednesday…or I guess we are eating KD for lunch.

My sister gets home Tuesday, so I am hoping by Thursday the jetlag effects have worn off and she will want to show some pictures from her trip. I’m making soup just for her. I hope she likes it…
Usually we just throw a frozen pizza in the oven and call it a night. But some of our friends have invited us over for ribs. I’m on cornbread duty.
I know I have a recipe somewhere, but I found this one online and think I will give it a shot. Hopefully it is good!
