Weekly Meal Plan May 19-23

This week’s plan finally includes something that requires the BBQ. I am hoping the weather is good enough now to keep using the BBQ and maybe even to pull out the patio furniture and enjoy some meals on the deck.

Here is what I have planned this week:

  • your favorite pasta sauce

  • Parmesan cheese
  • egg
  • mozzarella cheese


I love Mexican, and I love the recipes on Skinnytaste. This seems like a no brainer.


Andrew is on his own for supper on Tuesday night and I wanted him to have something OTHER than frozen pizza. I figured burgers and salad are an easy, fool proof meal that he will enjoy


We haven’t had chili in a long time. I’m not going to go crazy like Andrew and make a fancy chili (though I am sure he will want to throw in a few items when I get cooking) but I will use my tried and true Company’s ComingĀ recipe. This is perfect for Wednesday because I have an appointment at 4 and won’t be home until later. We will be able to walk in and sit down to eat. My kind of dinner!



Here is our vegetarian option for the week. I’m not sure how Andrew is going to feel about this because he is not a huge kale fan. Maybe with all the cheese he won’t notice it…
